As we move into the new year I take pause to consider what the previous year meant to me, what I did to realize in my life that which I hold most important and where I fell short. It is important to feel grateful and give thanks for the life I am blessed with in spite of all the trials and tribulations that I have endured during the year 2010. Now my focus turns to the future and to the new year that stands before me.
Much of what we do at OOK is related to serving accomplishment of one kind or another. Whether it is an OOK hanger being used to hang a new wedding or graduation photo or a new work of art, OOK products are always involved in the hanging of something meaningful or special. Often times I am walking down some street with a friend or associate and happen upon a gallery or museum that is hanging all of their artworks on our OOK hardware. I must confess it has in more than one instance caused me to break a sweat with the thought of how all of those millions of dollars are hanging on our hooks. I never forget that fact and take great pride that all of this value, both financial and sentimental, is resting on the hooks and hangers of our OOK hardware. It means a lot to me and our whole company.
As I prepare for the new year I am excited with all of the opportunities our company will have to engage in "supporting the arts" as we do and I am eager to participate in exhibiting artworks of all types, sizes and shapes. A toast to art ,.....and its hanging!'
